Our story

Built by
hospitality lifers.

Bibe is the operating layer hospitality has been waiting for. Made by people who've worked the floor, run the kitchen, and watched too many guests walk past a great venue without ever knowing it was there.

The mission

A seamless ecosystem for hospitality.

Build the connective tissue that gives venues the power of their own app — at the cost of a payment processor — while empowering local businesses and connecting communities through technology.

Empower the local

Most great hospitality is independent. Our platform makes them as discoverable as any chain.

Direct guest channel

Every Bibe scan turns a one-night visitor into a follower. The relationship belongs to the venue, not a feed.

Modern stack, hidden complexity

Branded mini-app, ordering, loyalty, analytics — one platform. The operator never sees the seams.

The founders

Two operators. One bet.

Bibe started in a back booth at a half-empty Tuesday bar. The owner — a friend of Steven’s — had a great room, a great pour, and no way to tell anyone. A printed menu, a stack of QR-code stickers from a vendor he’d forgotten the name of, an Instagram he updated when he remembered, and a notebook of regulars he’d been meaning to text. None of it talked to anything else.

Steven had spent decades on the operator side — Six Sigma in luxury hospitality, running properties where every percent of margin matters. He’d felt the gap from the inside, and over the years built half a dozen workarounds for it. None of them ever stitched together into a real product.

That’s the gap Bibe fills. Not another menu app. Not another loyalty plug-in. The connective tissue between a venue and the guests who’d come back if they only knew what was on tonight. One scan turns a visitor into a follower. One post puts that follower on the way back through the door.

Every feature ships only after a real GM has tried to break it. The dashboard runs on a Tuesday slow night. The Tender App stays useful when the POS goes down. The mini-app loads in two seconds on hotel Wi-Fi. The opinionated parts are opinionated for a reason.

Why Bibe, why now

73% of travelers prefer hospitality that offers self-service. Digital ordering lifts revenue per table by 30% and cuts errors by 95%. Independent venues have been waiting for a stack that does all of this without three vendors and a dedicated marketing hire.

Bibe ships that stack as one product. Branded mini-app, push channel, ordering, loyalty, analytics — same flat fee, same evening setup, same sticker on the table tent. Steven brings the operator’s playbook; Nii brings the engineering depth to make it real. Together they make it possible for a fifteen-table neighborhood spot to feel as wired as a national chain — and a national chain to actually feel like a venue.

That’s the whole bet.

What we believe

Five rules we won't break.

Operators first

If a feature looks pretty but slows down a Saturday rush, we kill it.

Owned channels

Followers belong to the venue. We don't insert ourselves between you and them.

Hardware-free

Phones and tablets only. No proprietary terminals to buy or break.

Plain English

If a teenage host can't use it on their first shift, we redesign it.

Honest pricing

Flat fee. No transaction skim. No surprise tier behind the feature you need.

Behind the build

Small team. High taste.
